Mimi passed the test! ๐ŸŽ‰

2025 has been one heck of a year, but it brought another dream fulfilled when Mimi passed her Summit Dog, Inc. therapy horse evaluation with flying colors. Lola is 18 and still going strong, but I realized a couple of years ago that she would be happier on visits and be able to do them longer with a second horse. In April, Dede passed Mimi on to me, and she has learned faster than I ever would have guessed a 7-year-old horse could. I am so grateful to Bache-Shumate DeDe for these incredibly special horses; to Sligo Stables for their tolerance as we brought two chestnut mares together and for their excellent care; to Michael Amster, Alyssa Hilary, and especially Aspen Amster for the hands-on, on-call help; and for our ever growing team of handlers and rear guards and assistants who make it all possible: Olivia Davidson, Sherrie Welch Davidson, Lori Norford Bakewell, Patrice Indig, MaryLee and Jim. Thank you also to the ladies of A Little Magic - Miniature horse therapy team who started me down this path. Kris Campesi, it was lovely to work with you again. Michelle E Robinson, thank you for welcome us under your umbrella.
