Lola

Lola is a miniature therapy horse who lives and works in Warrenton, Virginia. Her life was pretty routine until summer 2018, when she met the human who would train her for therapy work and become her partner. Now she visits nursing homes, senior centers, and schools, and can often be found at her town’s parks and farmers markets. Lola’s album and book are about persevering through challenges.

Danny

Danny is a palomino quarter horse/paint cross who stayed with the same human for 12 years! In that time they competed, introduced horses to more people than they can recall, and spent many hours grazing and practicing yoga. Danny’s album and book are about the importance of being yourself and accepting who you are.

Sligo Stables

The Sligo Stables gang includes Skippy (a lame chicken), Feather (a green horse who becomes a dressage champion and inspires confidence in other horses), Apple (a miniature horse who goes anywhere to keep other horses company in the trailer), and Bubbles and Bailey (ducklings who spent a few weeks living in Grace’s bedroom.)
